On the 10th anniversary of Panasonic Lumix, the firm unleashed two new cameras, Lumix G7 and G85, in the Digital Single Lens Mirrorless (DSLM) category. As per the company, both cameras target to serve the needs of Vloggers, YouTubers and still photographers.

- Both are ‘mirroless’ camera and comes with Electronic View Finder (EVF), instead of Optical View Finder (OVF).
- 4K video recording and editing capabilities.

Panasonic Lumix G85 Specifications
The Lumix G85 features a rugged design with splash and dust resistant. It integrates a 2360K-dot resolution OLED LVF (Live View Finder) and the free-angle 3-inch 1040K-dot touch-control monitor.
The camera sports a 16-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor without Low Pass filter and the new Venus Engine combine to achieve crisp, high-resolution images. It further supports 5-axis Dual-Image Stabilization and Focus Stacking capacity that allows you to adjust the depth of field after shooting by combining multiple images shot with the Post Focus function in the camera.
Other features of the camera include 4K video, real-time image output, live cropping in video recording, RAW data development in Camera, Multiple Exposure, and Time Lapse Shot / Stop Motion Animation. The camera weighs 435 grams (only body) making it handy to carry around during travel, trekking, wildlife and adventure purposes.

Panasonic Lumix G7 Specifications
The Lumix G7, on the other hand, is a compressed version of G83. It also integrates a 16-megapixel Digital Live MOS sensor and is capable of recording high-resolution QFHD 4K video in 3840X2160 resolution.
The camera is powered by image processor Venus Engine with quad-core CPU that lets high-speed signal processing resulting in 8 fps(AFS) / 6 fps(AFC) to capture fast moving subject just in-focus. The rear end of the Lumix G7 sport an OLED LVF (Live View Finder) and the free-angle 3-inch 1040K-dot touch-control monitor.
Panasonic Lumix G85 and G7 Price and Availability
Panasonic has priced the Lumix G85 in India at Rs. 72,990 whereas the Lumix G7 at Rs. 53,990. The latter also comes with a dual kit option of 1442 mm + 45150 mm lens available for Rs. 58,990. Both cameras will be available for purchase at all Panasonic retail stores across the country.
