OnePlus Nord CE 2 Vs Realme 9 Pro+: Processor, RAM & Storage

There is a stiff neck-to-neck competition between the 2 phones in this department. This is because both are powered by MediaTek chipsets.  While Nord CE 2 has an octa-core Dimensity 900 SoC combined with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, Realme 9 Pro+ packs an octa-core Dimensity 920 chipset with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.

Oneplus Nord CE 2

There is a minor difference between the two- the 2 Cortex A78 cores are clocked higher on the Realme smartphone, which is 2.5GHz as opposed to 2.4GHz on OnePlus, so Realme takes an edge here.

Realme 9 Pro+

If we talk about RAM and Memory, then both phones offer up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. There is a difference in storage as Nord gives up to 128GB internal capacity while Realme 9 Pro+ gives up to 256GB storage. Both uses UFS 2.2 types of storage. Although this might make the Realme phone have an edge, the point to be considered is that OnePlus offers microSD card support (up to 1TB) which is missing in Realme. Otherwise, Realme has a slight edge in terms of both chipset and storage.

Winner- Realme 9 Pro+ 5G

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G Vs Realme 9 Pro+: Display

In-display department, both smartphones sport a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. A minor difference is that while Nord’s device supports HDR10+ while watching videos, the Realme smartphone supports heart rate monitoring via the in-display fingerprint sensor. So, this category is surely a tie.

Winner- None, it’s a Tie.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G Vs Realme 9 Pro+: Cameras

Both smartphones have a triple camera setup at the back, but there is a difference in the sensors used.

The OnePlus smartphone has a 64MP f/1.7 primary lens with EIS, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide snapper, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. The smartphone can shoot 4k videos at 30fps smoothly. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera that can capture 1080p videos at 60fps.
