OnePlus is all set to launch the OnePlus 10 Pro globally on Thursday. With the dates set and the event expected to go on the floor soon, there’s a new wave of leaks hurtling through the space-time continuum. I am talking about the OnePlus Nord 2T whose specifications were leaked by tipster Yogesh Brar even before its launch date could be out. Read more.
OnePlus Nord 2T Specifications Leaked
According to the specs sheet leaked on Twitter, OnePlus Nord 2T will get the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC under the hood. It will be paired with 8GB and 12GB LPDDR4x RAM. Just why OnePlus has omitted the 6GB variant remains a question. There will be a UFS 3.1 storage tech offering 128GB and 25GB of storage variants at your disposal.
The OnePlus Nord 2T has a slightly smaller display at a 6.43-inch AMOLED 1080p panel compared to the Nord 2. It will have a 90Hz refresh rate which is still better than a standard refresh rate. The device uses a 4,500mAh battery pack under the hood paired with a flagship cadre 80W fast charging tech that the OnePlus 10 Pro will launch with as well. There’s Android 12-powered OxygenOS 12 out-of-the-box and since it is OnePlus, you are guaranteed future updates for sure.
OnePlus Nord 2T uses a triple rear camera setup. This includes a Sony IMX766 50MP shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide cam, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. There’s a 32MP front camera onboard as well. The camera rig hasn’t changed much compared to the predecessors and even the Pro variants. Nord 2T will have a stereo speaker setup along with an alert slider which is a big deal for OnePlus users.
That’s pretty much all that Brar mentioned in his tweet recently. There’s no fixed launch date for Nord 2T at the time of writing this although we assume it will be sooner.
