Amidst circulating early rumors surrounding the OnePlus V Fold, speculations have emerged suggesting that OnePlus may rebrand the OPPO Find N2 as the OnePlus Fold. However, we are here to set the record straight and debunk such claims. Our findings are derived from images of a prototype unit in the testing stage, which typically closely resembles the final product. While it is plausible to anticipate some minor adjustments, it is important to emphasize that the OnePlus V Fold will unquestionably possess its own distinctive identity and will not mirror the OPPO Find N2.

The OnePlus Fold will include the beloved alert slider, a signature feature often found in OnePlus flagships. Additionally, the power button of the OnePlus V Fold seamlessly integrates a fingerprint sensor, offering users the convenience of secure biometric authentication. As you turn around the device, your attention will be drawn to a large screen with slim bezels dominating the front.

At the center of the front screen, a selfie camera is elegantly positioned. When you unfold the screen, an inner selfie camera awaits at the left-side corner of the phone. Renders also confirm the presence of a triple speaker system on the OnePlus folding phone, promising an immersive audio experience. The book style hinge mechanism appears to be inspired by the OPPO Find N2 and Samsung Galaxy Z foldable. The phone has metallic construction as OnePlus has placed antenna bands in the side frame.

It is important to note that while the renders we have showcased depict a prototype of the OnePlus V Fold featuring a faux leather finish, OnePlus may also introduce variants of the device that employ more traditional and premium materials such as metal or glass. This offers a wider range of options to suit different aesthetic preferences and cater to individual tastes. We would like to also emphasize that name of the OnePlus’ first folding phone is not final so it may change.
