On Monday, OnePlus announced the Nord CE4 via a press release. The smartphone follows the Nord CE3 5G and Nord CE2 launched in previous years. “The brand recorded a notable 13 percent YoY growth in its smartphone shipment with the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite emerging as one of the top models shipped,” the company mentions. It is expecting a similar response to the OnePlus Nord CE4, more details about which are discussed below.
OnePlus Nord CE4 Launch Date
According to the official release, the OnePlus Nord CE4 will be released on April 1, 2024, at 06:30 PM IST. The company also revealed that the handset will feature the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, a mid-range processor. The chipset brings a 15 percent improvement in CPU performance and 50 percent in GPU performance “without compromising on the overall user experience or design.”
With the processor, the smartphone should offer enough performance to tackle browsing, streaming, or multitasking. OnePlus India has also confirmed that the device will be available in two colors: Dark Chrome and Celdaon Marble. While the former features a subtle shiny gradient, the latter has a texture-based design inspired by the special edition OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey.
OnePlus Nord CE4 Overview
This is the extent of the phone’s information. However, the teaser images confirm that it will feature a dual-camera system on the back and a ring-shaped LED flash. Further, we can also see that the power/volume buttons reside on the right frame, while the company’s branding rests in the center on the rear panel. Additionally, there’s an IR blaster on the top frame. Further, since the processor supports 5G connectivity, we expect the handset to provide high-speed cellular connectivity.
