Earlier, the OnePlus CEO dropped the first teaser bomb on twitter with hints “Fast and Smooth.” The tech community deciphers inline multiple variants of the phone to come with triple cameras. Besides this, the phones could be a major upgrade with QHD+ display, Warp charge, and many more exciting features.
OnePlus 7 Features: Everything We Know So Far
As the above teaser promises the new phone to give a “Fast and Smooth” experience, we could safely bet high-end specs. Rumor town anticipates three variants- OnePlus 7 standard, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 5G edition.
Out of the lot, the one surfacing the most in the rumors are OnePlus 7 Pro. It is tipped to be the first OnePlus phone to flaunt a 6.5-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate could promise smoother gameplay.
The heavy and long gaming hours demand a larger juice pack. OnePlus 7 is thus expected to bear a 4000mAh battery. This time around the new OnePlus could support 30W Warp charging, which we are familiar from the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition.
OnePlus 7 Pro could be a full display phone with the front camera residing within a pop-up module. As far as the base variant is concerned, this one could sport the same droplet notch like the OnePlus 6T.
Under the hood, the phone could bear a Snapdragon 855 chipset. Needless to reiterate, the OnePlus 5G would have the 5G modem embedded in the SD855 chip. Again, a faster processor, faster network connectivity, faster charger, etc corroborates the claim of the latest teaser.
Besides the specs and features, the OnePlus 7 series launch event could be held on May 14 simultaneously in the UK, New York, and Bengaluru at ITC 8:30 pm. We could also expect the OnePlus Smart TV to be a surprise treat for the audience.
