OnePlus 6 To Come With iPhone X-like Gestures and Alert-Slider: Confirms Teaser

The launch of OnePlus 6 is around the corner. A few days back OnePlus officially confirmed that its next-gen phone will be called OnePlus 6. The company quickly followed it up with the release of two new teasers which revealed details about some UI features and an Alert-Slider on the phone.

OnePlus 6 New Teasers

The new teaser came with a phrase “Speed up your experience with gestures” which means that you can navigate through OnePlus 6 via gestures too. This way you will have more room on the device’s 19:9 display and you won’t have to rely on the onscreen buttons to switch between screens.

The second teaser of OnePlus 6, on the other hand, confirmed a physical slider on the phone. As always, the slider will let you put your phone in General, Do Not Disturb, and Silent mode.

OnePlus 6 Specifications (Expected)

Multiple leaks and rumors suggest that the OnePlus 6 sport come with a 6-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with a notch on top and a slight amount of bezel at the bottom. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core SoC paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and a 64GB/128GB storage variant along with the high-end 256GB variant.

As for the camera of OnePlus 6, the sensor is expected to stay the same as OnePlus 5T, which is dual-rear camera setup of 20MP+16MP, though there could be improvements for low-light performance. The phone will run on Android Oreo-based Oxygen OS 5.1 out of the box and its battery, which is unknown for now, will have dash charging.

All the rumors, leaks and company’s promotion points at an early arrival of OnePlus 6. The phone could go official by late-April or in the first weak of May.
