OnePlus News: OnePlus10 Pro specs leaked, OnePlus RT, OnePlus Buds Z2 to launch in India on December 16

Reports about OnePlus gearing up for the launch of its next OnePlus 10 series in China in early 2022 have been going strong. The series is expected to launch globally by April 2022, but ahead of its official launch, some 5k renders were leaked, which showed the exact look of the OnePlus 10 Pro model.

Now OnLeaks has shared the complete OnePlus 10 Pro specs ahead of its 2022 launch and it seems like there will be notable updates over 9 Pro that launched earlier this year.

Moreover, the OnePlus RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 are all set to launch on December 16 in India.

OnePlus 10 Pro Design

The look in the renders boasted of Hassleband rear cameras, curved edges, and a punch-hole camera. On the right side were the alert slider and power button whereas the left side had the volume up and down buttons.

The logo of OnePlus was seen on the rear of the device which appeared to have a matte finish with a metal chassis. The USB Type-C port, SIM tray, and speaker grille are placed at the bottom. Reports also said that the renders were based on real-life pictures of an early prototype, so some changes are possible in the final design.

OnePlus 10 Pro Specs

OnePlus 10 Pro is said to be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC and paired with 8GB/128GB LPDDR5 RAM and 12GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage options. It is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone will pack a 5000mAh battery but no details have been revealed about its battery and fast charging, though rumors are rife that it would have 125W fast charging support.

In the camera department, it is expected to have a 48MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3.3x zoom. For selfies and video calls, it will feature a 32MP selfie snapper.

The smartphone is said to have an IP68 rating for water resistance and is likely to measure around 163.2×73.6×8.7mm.

OnePlus 9R & OnePlus Buds Z2 Launch imminent

Tipster Ishan Agarwal has that the OnePlus 9R would be rebranded to OnePlus 9RT in India and will be launched in December 2021, along with the OnePlus Buds Z2. He also reveals that the OnePlus 9RT will come in Nano Silver and Hacker Black color options while OnePlus Buds Z2 will be available in Obsidian Black and Pearl White color variants.

OnePlus 9RT Specs

The smartphone will feature a 6.62-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ certification, and a 60Hz touch sampling rate.

OnePlus RT in 2 colors

It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. It will feature a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

In the camera department, the OnePlus 9RT is equipped with a rear triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 lens, a 16MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Also, there’s a 16MP front camera for selfies.

OnePlus Buds Z2 Specs

Buds Z2 comes with a new in-ear design with silicone tips. These 2nd gen earbuds pack 11mm, dynamic drivers, with support for Bluetooth 5.2. They come with AAC and SBC Bluetooth codec support along with support for BLE, SPP, HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP Bluetooth transmission protocols. They have support for fast pairing and are compatible with OnePlus devices as old as OnePlus 6.

Active Noise Cancellation is one of its main features. The ANC on Buds Z2 claims to block out noises up to 40db, due to 3 microphones on each of the earbuds. The Buds have IP55 splash-proof certification, while the case is IPX4 certified.

OnePlus Buds Z2 promises up to 5 hours of battery life with ANC turned on, while 2 hours will be added when ANC is turned off. Warp charging is available which can charge for 5 hours of listening within 10 minutes.

OnePlus 9RT & Buds Z2 Expected Price

The OnePlus 9RT India price is expected to be under Rs. 40,000 going by its China pricing of CNY 3299.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 is priced at CNY 499 in China, so its India price will be along the same lines i.e. Rs. 5815. The first-gen Buds Z are currently retailing at Rs. 2999 in India.
