Ola S1X and Ola S1 Pro With Impressive Range, Design, Specifications Launched in India

On the occasion of Independence Day, Ola Electric the Indian electric vehicle manufacturer has expanded its lineup with the launch of four new electric scooters in the market. The company has been teasing about the EVs from a couple of months and now finally it has made the debut. Here are more details about the newly launched Ola S1X series, accompanied by the upgraded Ola S1 Pro (2nd Generation).

Ola S1 Pro 2nd Generation Price

The second-generation Ola S1 Pro is now accessible for acquisition at a price point of Rs 1,47,499. Interested buyers can initiate their purchase from today onwards via the Ola app and the official Ola Electric website. The deliveries are scheduled to commence in mid-September across the nation.

Ola S1 Pro 2nd Generation Features

The Ola S1 Pro showcases its signature headlamps and is available in a selection of five vibrant color choices. Noteworthy advancements are evident in its performance metrics. The 4kWh battery has achieved a certified range of 195 Km on a complete charge, a notable improvement from the first-generation’s claim of 181 Km. The peak motor power has been elevated to 11kW, while the maximum speed reaches 120 Kmph. In comparison, the previous model featured 8.6kW of power and a top speed of 116 Kmph. Impressively, the acceleration from 0 to 40 Kmph is achieved in just 2.6 seconds.

Ola S1X series Price and Availability

The pricing details for the Ola S1X series are as follows: The Ola S1X (2kWh) variant is priced at Rs 89,999, while the Ola S1X (3kWh) is priced at Rs 99,999. The premium Ola S1X+ variant carries a price tag of Rs 1,09,999.

Starting today, the Ola S1X+ is available for purchase, and deliveries are slated to commence at the end of September. As for the Ola S1X (2kWh and 3kWh) models, reservations can be made at an initial cost of Rs 999, with deliveries scheduled to commence in December.

To further enhance the appeal, all models come with an introductory discount of Rs 10,000, applicable until August 21st. This brings the starting price down to an enticing Rs 79,999 for the Ola S1X (2kWh), and Rs 89,999 and Rs 99,999 for the Ola S1X (3kWh) and Ola S1X+ respectively.

The Ola S1X series presents a choice between two distinct models, each offering the flexibility of selecting either a 2kWh or 3kWh battery capacity. Notably, the sole variant to incorporate keyless unlock functionality is the Ola S1X+ model, exclusively available with the 3kWh battery option. On the other hand, the standard Ola S1X version lacks smart connectivity features, while both models boast an array of new dual-tone color selections.
