Ola Electric to launch the 'greenest EV' it ever made on August 15

Ola Electric is eccentric about the upcoming 75th Independence Day on August 15 as it will be the day when it enters the Electric Vehicles (four-wheelers) market with the alleged Ola Electric Car. Both the official Twitter channels of Ola and Bhavish Aggarwal – CEO at Ola Electric, have been posting teasers with the latest dubbing it as “greenest EV” hinting toward the upcoming EV.

Ola Electric is gearing up for the August 15 launch

Both Aggarwal and Ola Electric’s official Twitter handles have been sharing teasers about the upcoming launch on August 15th. One of the latest teasers has a caption that says “On 15th August, we’ll be revealing the greenest EV we’ve made! Any guesses?”. Although it is uncertain if Ola is talking about a two-wheeler EV or a four-wheeler EV, perhaps it could be both. The ‘greenest EV’ tag hints at the most environment-friendly and electric-based vehicle.

A few days ago, Aggarwal tweeted a poll asking people to vote for what they can expect at the August 15th launch. It had one of the indications towards an Ola S1 Pro at a lower price which could be one of the products that are up to launch on August 15 as well. A tweet had the caption “What’s common between Paalak Paneer, Hulk, Forest, and the Ola S1 Pro?” which is another indication of a tuned-up S1 Pro. It came with the hashtag “EndICEage” where the ICE is an abbreviation for Internal Combustion Engines since EVs don’t use ICE on run on batteries instead.

Although Ola has shared a teaser showing the upcoming Ola Electric Car from the back and front, it remains to be seen if it will be launched on August 15 or not. The launch event will be live-streamed online although you will have to wait for the official Livestream link to arrive. Additionally, Ola will announce all its future plans at the August 15th launch event including its futuristic 1,000-acre cell factory which is in the making as well.
