The gaming-smartphone trend that Razer started last year, is beginning to pick pace. Recently, Xiaomi-backed Black Shark announced a smartphone targeted at hardcore gamers and within days Nubia showed its interest in the same audience. And here are the first renders of the Nubia’s gaming phone, dubbed as the Red Devil.
Nubia Red Devil Leaked Renders
The images of Nubia Red Devil was leaked on Slashleak, confirming its design and looks. It seems to come bundled inside a metal unibody design with full vision 18:9 display up front. The display size and resolution are not known as of now, but the images show that it will have visibly thin bezels both at the top and bottom.
On the flip side, the Red Devil has a slope that tapers to the edges. The panel is also where you will find the primary camera, LED flash, Fingerprint sensor, four speaker mesh, and an interesting light bar in the middle that might be used to add light effects to gaming.
Further, the right edge of the phone can be seen carrying all the physical controls such as the power button, volume rockers, and an Alert Slider.
Talking about the Red Devil specifications, there isn’t much to discuss except that it will be powered by mighty Snapdragon 845 chipset and have a new air-cooled heat dissipation technology. More details will be revealed as we inch closer to the launch event.
Rumors are that Nubia could unveil the Red Devil gaming phone on April 19, which is today. So stay tuned for updates.
