Nokia 7 with Bothie Feature Likely to Launch in India On October 31: Features and Specifications

Nokia 7 might be heading to India sooner than what you might have anticipated. HMD Global that foresees Nokia smartphone business has started rolling out press invites for an event on October 31, and the 7 could very well be what’s coming.

 

The invite reads, “HMD Global invites you to an exclusive gathering to unveil the next milestone for Nokia phones.” The launch will see Nokia extending its Indian smartphone tally to number five as Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 8 models were announced earlier this year.

Nokia 7 Features and Specification

To recall, Nokia 7 has got a revamped look from the previous line of Nokia series. The phone is now encased in an aluminum and glass body design. The fingerprint sensor has shifted from the front to the back of the phone and the capacitive buttons have given way to the on-screen buttons.

Other than that, the 5.2-inch full HD (1920X1080 p) display Nokia 7 is powered by Snapdragon 630 processor and offers 64GB of storage space. The phone will be offered in two RAM variants – 4GB and 6GB, and houses a 3,000mAh fast-charging battery.

The Bothie feature which debuted with the Nokia 8 cameras, will be included in the Nokia 7, too. The 16MP rear and 5MP back camera will occupy space on the viewfinder to click and capture images, simultaneously. The rear camera can record up to 4K videos and supports OZO 360-degree directional audio capture.

As far as the software goes, Nokia 7 will again be the stock Android smartphone and run on the Android Nougat out of the box. It will also receive the Android Oreo sometime later.

The connectivity option on the device comprises of dual Hybrid SIM tray, 4G VoLTE support, WiFi, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC support.

Nokia 7 Price and Availability

Nokia 7 expected to be officially unveiled on October 31 and the India price is expected to start at under 25,000 INR. In China, Nokia 7 costs CNY 2,499 (or Rs. 25,000 approx.) for 4GB RAM variant and CNY 2,699 (or Rs. 26,500 approx.) for the 6GB RAM variant.
