Motorola Moto G5 Plus Launched In India: Everything You Need To Know

Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched its much-hyped Moto G5 Plus, which many budget Android buyers have been dearly awaiting for a while. The successor of Moto G4 Plus, that went official at recently concluded MWC 2017, comes with a premium design and  pure Android Nougat software.

The phone goes on sale on exclusively on Flipkart and tge retaiker has alao announced a Buyback Guarantee scheme for Moto G5 Plus buyers that shall fix its exchange price at 7,000 INR.

The 3GB RAM + 16GB storage variant costs 14,999 INR. The 4GB RAM and 32GB storage variant will cost 16,999 INR.

As far as aesthetics of the Moto G5 Plus are concerned, it comes with metal rim on the sides along with gently arched corners. Motorola has finally done the right thing by replacing Moto G4 Plus fingerprint sensor with a home button which also comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded in it and can perform various other functions.

The Moto G5 Plus has a 5.2-inch full HD IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection plastered on top. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0GHz and Adreno 506 GPU.

Lenovo is offering the Moto 5 Plus in the combination of 2GB / 3GB of RAM + 16GB onboard storage or 4GB of RAM + 32GB onboard storage. It does feature an additional microSD card slot for further storage expansion.

The smartphone features a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and dual-tone LED flash which as per the company is ‘the most advanced camera’ set in its category. The rear camera is good enough to shoot 4K videos at 30fps. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The Moto G5 Plus is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery with TurboCharging support. Motorola has further added a water repellent nano coating on the smartphone to ensure it can withstand accidental splashes.

Moto G5 Plus is one of the best smartphone in its category. Most of the phones in this category have same features but since last 2-3 years Moto has been at the top, so it has a good track record in these years. Performance of the phone is good, so it can be your best choice in this price range.
