Motorola G5 Plus To Go On Sale On Flipkart

As previously reported, Lenovo backed Motorola is set to bring Moto G5 Plus to India on March 15. Once again, Lenovo has grabbed the hand of Flipkart as its exclusive partner to take this phone to the masses. Flipkart took to twitter to announce this information however, there is no mention of Moto G5 which made its debut alongside Moto G5 Plus at MWC 2017.

To recall, the new Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5 were first unveiled at recently concluded mobile world congress. The successor of Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus flaunts an improved aesthetics with a metal shell.

The Moto G5 Plus has a 5.2-inch full-HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2GHz. It comes in three storage and RAM variants that include – 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB RAM and 16GB/ 32GB/ 64GB internal storage. Lenovo has added a multipurpose home button on the front that acts as a fingerprint scanner and navigation buttons. It boots up on Android 7.0 Nougat with Google Assistant.

For shutterbugs, the Moto G5 Plus boasts a 12-megapixel camera with dual autofocus and f/1.7 aperture on the rear while a standard 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. It draws juice from a 3000mAh battery.

The Moto G5, on the other hand, houses a 5-inch display and is powered by entry-grade 1.4Ghz Snapdragon 430 octa-core chipset. It comes with a 2,800mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. It gets a 13-megapixel primary shooter and 5-megapixel selfie shooter.

In Europe and the US, Moto G5 has priced approximately at Rs 14,054, while Moto G5 Plus starts at around Rs 15,275. However, their India prices could be a lot more subsidized as Lenovo has always priced Moto G series under 15,000 In India.
