Motorola Edge 50 Ultra launched Globally: Might come to India soon

A few days ago, Motorola announced its next in the Edge Pro Series in India when the Moto Edge 50 Pro 5G was rolled out. The smartphone was popularized for being a value-for-money smartphone that is loaded with premium features. Now, Motorola has rolled out the second device in the Edge 50 Series, but this time in some global markets. Moto Edge 50 Ultra has been launched in select countries like Europe. This one is a flagship smartphone that claims to give a better performance than the Pro variant.

Moto Edge 50 Ultra: Features

The Moto Edge 50 Ultra sports a 6.7-inch 1.5K P-OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It comes with HDR10+, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 2500 nits peak brightness along with DCI-P3 color gamut and DC dimming. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Moto Edge 50 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDRR5X RAM. There is a 4500mAh battery with 125W wired charging capability. In terms of the camera, there is a triple lens setup at the back including a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. At the front is a 50MP snapper as well.

The Edge 50 Ultra runs Hello UI based on Android 14 out of the box and is IP68-rated for dust and water protection. Additional features include 5G, WiFi 6E/7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C port, and USB 3.1 Gen 2 spec.

The device has a different back design due to the Pantone finish it has received. Overall it is made of metal but designed in such a way that it feels like leather.

Moto Edge 50 Ultra: Price, Availability & Colors

Moto Edge 50 Ultra comes in Fuzzy Peach, Forest Grey, and Nordic Wood colors. It will go on sale in select European countries in the upcoming weeks for a starting price of €1000. It will soon be available in Asia (India as well), Oceania, and Latin America as well.
