Motorola Edge 50 5G Launched in India: Price, Availability, Specs

The Motorola Edge 50 family just got larger. After announcing Moto Edge 50 Pro, Moto Edge 50 Ultra, and Moto Edge 50 Fusion, the brand has launched Moto Edge 50 vanilla model in India. The new Moto Edge 50 sits just above the Moto Edge 50 Fusion and below the Pro version. It is the first device in the Edge 50 series that comes with Military grade certification, MIL-STD 810H.

Motorola Edge 50: Price & Availability

The Moto Edge 50 has been launched in a single 8GB RAM+256GB storage configuration that is priced at Rs. 27,999. It comes in Jungle Green, and Pantone Peach Fuzz shades with a vegan leather back and a Koala Grey shade with a vegan suede back panel.

The device will go on sale on 8th August at 12 PM via Flipkart. The company is offering an instant discount of Rs. 2000 on Axis Bank Credit Card.

Motorola Edge 50: Specs

Moto Edge 50 is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It boasts of a 6.67-inch 1.5K P-OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 1900 nits brightness. The display is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protected and comes with a large vapor chamber cooling system. It runs Android 14 with Helio UI layered on top with Motorola promising 2 years of software updates and 3 years of security patches.

In terms of camera optics, it features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor at the back along with a 13MP ultrawide sensor. At the front is a 32MP selfie snapper while under the hood is a 5000mAh battery with 68W wired, 15W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging capability.

Additional features include Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP68 protection. It comes with MIL-STD 810H3 military standard.
