Motorola has confirmed the launch date of one more Edge 50 Series smartphone. The company has announced the addition of Motorola Edge 50 Fusion to the Edge 50 family in the country. Earlier Motorola launched Moto Edge 50 Pro smartphone in India so this will be the second device in the series to come to India.
Motorola launched the Edge 50 Series including three devices globally last month. It included Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Pro, and Edge 50 Ultra. While two out of three will now be available in India, there is no news about the Ultra variant coming to the country. The company is also set to enter the TWS segment as it launches Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ in India tomorrow.
Motorola has not only confirmed the launch date and online availability of Edge 50 Fusion but some of its key specs as well.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion: Launch date
Motorola took to its social media channels to confirm that the Moto Edge 50 Fusion will launch in India on 16th May 12 PM IST. A dedicated page has gone live on Flipkart which confirms that it will retail via Flipkart.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion: Design & Specs
The Flipkart page for Moto Edge 50 Fusion not only confirmed India availability but also key specs and design. Since the Moto Edge 50 Fusion has already been launched globally, we do know about its specs. The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ P-OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits brightness.

In terms of camera optics, there will be a 50MP OIS-enabled main sensor at the back along with a 13MP ultrawide camera. At the front will be a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calls. Under the hood, the Moto Edge 50 Fusion will pack a 5000mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging. The smartphone runs Android 14-based Hello UI out of the box and additional features include IP68 rating, NFC, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and much more.
The Moto Edge 50 Fusion has been confirmed to arrive in three shades- Marshmallow Blue, Hot Pink, and Forest Blue.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion costs EUR 399 which is Rs. 35,400 approximately in Europe for the base model. It is expected to cost less than the Edge 50 Pro version in India. The Moto Edge 50 Pro has a starting price of Rs. 31,999 in India.
More details will be known when the smartphone gets officially announced on May 16.
