The Lenovo-owned Motorola did the unveiling of its new Moto Z2 Force in the US that will be sold in the country from August 10 onward. The company has priced the product at $720(or approx Rs 46,430). This is Moto’s first shatter-proof smartphone with no headphone jack.

The Moto Z2 Force features 5.5-inch QuadHD AMOLED display with a layer of shatter resistance on top of it. It is built from 7000 series aluminum, making it 80 per cent stronger than the previous-generation model. All these features make the phone tough and rigid, which should ensure that it survives accidents and drops.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest processor Snapdragon 835 and an Adreno 540 GPU. To juice it up the phone is housed with 2730 mAh battery.
For better photography, Moto has opted for dual-camera setup on the back, 12-megapixel camera sensors with enhanced depth of field. On the front, there is 5MP selfie shooter with LED flash.
The phone will run on Android Nougat OS out of the box and has a fingerprint sensor embedded fingerprint in the home button. The device is also dust and water resistant and supports TurboPower charging.
Moto Z2 Force Edition is launched in three colors Super Black, Fine Gold, and Lunar Grey. Apart from this, the phone will be sold in two variants: 4GB or 6GB RAM depending upon region, while internal memory will be either 64GB or 128GB (also supports MicroSD card).

Interestingly, the features of this top-end smartphone can be enhanced by Moto Mods. Motorola has also introduced a new 360 Camera Mod, that features two 13-megapixel cameras on the front and rear, to the already existing lineup. Like other Moto Mods, this one too snaps magnetically to the phone and adds the ability to live stream to social media channels.
The high-end Moto Z2 Force joins the Moto Z2 Play, which has already been made available in India. We are still unaware of the launch date of Moto Z2 Force for the Indian market.
