As expected, Lenovo today presented its new Motorola phone, the Moto M, which flaunts a dual nano-coated metal body, housing reasonably powerful mid-range innards. According to the official listing that surfaced prior to the actual launch, the handset will be available in China for CNY 1999 or Approx 20,000 INR.

To start with, the Moto M has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display and is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio P15 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB non-expandable internal storage. That’s good enough to drive near stock Android Marshmallow running on the handset.

For photography, there is a 16MP rear camera with two-tone flash and PDAF, alongside an 8MP front selfie camera.

Other Moto M features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3050mAh battery, and thankfully a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor (Unlike the eye-sore of a trackpad on other Moto phones this year). You can’t take it with you in the pool, but the dual nano-coating will keep it safe from drizzles and splashes.

There is no word on global or India availability as of now.
