Moto Edge 30 Pro might launch in India on 24th February, company schedules a launch event

Motorola Edge X30 is the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphone but till now it has been launched in China only. Now, Motorola has scheduled a launch event on 24th Feb wherein the company is expected to announce Moto Edge 30 Pro which is speculated to be the rebranded version of the Moto Edge X30.

The event that has been announced might stream at the same time both in India and globally. The teaser poster doesn’t mention any specific phone, but chances are high that it will be Edge 30 pro.

Motorola Edge X30 Specs

The Motorola Edge X30 aka the Moto Edge 30 Pro sports a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 576Hz touch sampling rate. It will have a 2400×1080 pixel resolution with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR10+ with punch-hole cutout and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

The Moto Edge X30 packs a 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging. In the camera department, it has a 60MP sensor on the front. At the back, it has triple cameras including a 50MP primary OV50A40 with f/1.88 aperture, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP third sensor. The smartphone runs on Android 12 with My UI 3.0 on top.

The device comes with support for Dolby Atmos and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with Adreno GPU. It has up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The Moto Edge X30 measures 163.56×75.95×8.49mm and weighs 194 grams.

Details about the price and availability will surface as the launch gets closer.
