Lenovo-owned Motorola fans will be saying “Hello” to Moto G6, G6 Play, and G6 Plus at the global unveiling in Brazil on April 19. They are going to be the mid-range phones, succeeding last year’s Moto G5. Meanwhile, the entry grade Moto E5 Plus made an appearance on Geekbench, revealing its key specifications.
Up until now, we had very little information on Moto E-series. The previous leak only hinted at the phone’s design and the fact that it will come in three variants dubbed as Moto E5, Moto E5 Play, and Moto E5 Plus.
Moto E5 Plus Specifications
The Moto E5 Plus is going to be the premium model in the lot. The leak revealed that it will be powered by 1.4GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 mobile chipset paired with 3GB of RAM that has managed to secure impressive score in Geekbench result. Its single-core score managed to go as high as 653 whereas the multi-core score registered 1835 mark.
At the software front, the Moto E5 Plus will run on the latest version of Android Oreo. There won’t be any custom UI on top, but Motorola will expectedly bundle a few trinkets of its own – Moto gestures, one hand mode, ambient display, etc. – that prove to be useful.
If previous rumors are anything to go by, the Moto E5 Plus will flaunt an 18:9 full vision display, glass-sandwiched design, 64GB storage, and fingerprint sensor underneath the Moto Dimple on the rear panel.
Moto E5-series Launch Date
The next generations of Moto E-series phones should follow Mogo G-series launch (April 19). We can expect the E-series models to go official next month.
