Lately, Microsoft has been working hard to revolutionize its Lumia series of smartphones which are based on Windows OS. Microsoft has been among the top stories due to its latest OS Windows 10 which is soon expected to roll out in public. And at MWC 2015 event in Barcelona, we were made familiar with the two newest inductees of the Microsoft Lumia segment, Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL. Microsoft Lumia 640 XL launch in India was organized earlier this week and now as we have about it, Microsoft Lumia 640 has made its way as well.
Microsoft Lumia 640 features a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM and an Adreno 305 GPU for enhanced graphic experience. The smartphone packs a 5 inch HD ClearBlack display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Lumia 640 inboxes 8 GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 128 GB via microSD card. The phone initially comes with Windows 8.1 OS and can be upgraded to Windows 10. An 8 MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash adds to the delicacy of the phone and an 1 MP front camera lies onboard too.

The all new Microsoft Lumia 640 price in India was disclosed to be INR 11,999 during the launch event. The phone is available in matte black, cyan blue, orange and white color options. The launch event was executed earlier this week and the phone can now be bought from retail stores and e-commerce markets as well.
