Micromax started its online exclusive journey with Canvas Spark (Not taking YU sub-brand in to account), which was an instant hit, thanks to an alluring spec-sheet and thoughtful design. The domestic manufacturer further cashed in on this success with Canvas Spark 2 last year and now the company is all set to go bigger with Canvas Spark 3.

Bigger in size, that is. The new Canvas Spark 3 progresses to a bigger 5.5-inch HD display, protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and flaunts the same moonstone finish on the plastic back cover. Performance was never a forte of the Canvas Spark series and looks like Canvas Spark 3 won’t blow your socks off either.

The handset includes a 1.3GHz quad core processor (details unspecified) with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Not a very enticing combination we must add, but the chipset used is most likely based on 32-bit architecture (since there is no 4G LTE), and thus 1GB RAM could perhaps be manageable for basic first time users.

The dual SIM handset includes 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, a 5MP front-facing camera, 1.5CC Box 2509 Speakers, a 2900 mAh battery and is running Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The handset is expected to be available in black color options very soon.

Micromax hasn’t formally introduced the handset yet. It briefly appeared on the official webpage, but the listing was soon removed. More details regarding where you buy Canvas Spark 3 online and the lowest price of Canvas Spark 3 in India will surface later.
