Meizu M5 With 5.2-Inch Display and MT6750 Chipset Launched At Rs. 10,499

After laying low for some time Meizu has launched its M5 smartphone in India. The new smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,499 and is set to retail exclusively on Tatacliq.com. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer also launched the same phone last October at its home in China for 700 Yuan which roughly translate to around Rs. 7,000.

In terms of specifications, the Meizu M5 boasts a 5.2-inch IPS screen with the 1280 x720 pixel HD resolution. Its display is shielded by and 2.5D glass curved glass and comes with a blue light filter option to reduce eye strain.Meizu M5

Meizu continues to rely on MediaTek chipset as it uses octa-core MT6750 Chipset clocked at 1.5GHz and assisted by Mali-T860 GPU. The phone comes with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be bumped up to 128GB via microSD card.

The phone comes with mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor embedded home button that can be used for fast unlock and navigation. The M5 comes fitted with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera which has a large f/2.0 aperture.

The M5 sports a powerful 3070mAh battery providing a long standby time. The smartphone comes running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) based FlyMe OS which has been optimized to deliver better battery life and overall performance. In India, the Meizu M5 will be offered in blue and gold color options.
