Poco M5 is scheduled to launch on September 5 in India and globally

Poco M5 will be a successor to the Poco M4 series in India and is expected to be priced under Rs 13,000.

Poco has finally revealed the date for its next budget smartphone launch in India. Poco M5 is set to debut in India as well as globally on September 5. Poco will live stream the M5 launch at 5:30 PM IST.

Poco M5 4G expected features

The official teaser video shows Poco M5 in a dual-tone back. It includes a rectangular black region housing a dual camera module and leathered POCO yellow and teal coloured panel. The design looks familiar to the existing Poco M4 series. The front face has a waterdrop notch with mediocre bezels all around.

As far as specs are concerned, Poco M5 is alleged to sport a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It will feature triple rear cameras with an expected 50MP main sensor and dual 2MP secondary sensors.

Poco M5 could be powered by MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM And 128GB internal storage. The device should be driven on MIUI 13 based on Android 12 skin. The upcoming Poco M5 is likely to get a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

The Chinese smartphone maker is presenting Poco M5 as a powerful smartphone under the price bracket of Rs 10,000 to Rs 13,000 thus hinting at the possible cost of the device. We will be back with more details as soon as the phone is launched on September 5.
