LG V30 Image Leaks Before Official Announcement

In its customary manner, LG has started unveiling its upcoming 2017 flagship, V30, piece by piece. After the LG V30’s curved edge display, the south Korean manufacturer today talked about audio capabilities of the handset. Meanwhile, an image of LG V30 that reveals almost every-inch of the smartphone has surfaced on Weibo.

The upcoming V-series device will be different from the LG V10 and V20. By the looks of its, LG has decided to ditch secondary ticker screen and it won’t come in the V30 Phablet. Instead, the V30 will have a floating bar that will display all the notifications and frequently used apps.

Other than that, the LG V30 said to feature a widescreen display. And, as per the official confirmation, it will flaunt a 6-inch OLED screen with 2,880 X 1,440 pixels resolution a and 18:9 aspect ratio. It will also have curved edges something similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ (review).

The image also revealed that the phone will have a USB-C port, placed at the bottom of the edge, alongside the external speakers.

LG Teases with LG V30 Audio Capabilities

Meanwhile, LG, hours before the alleged leaked images of LG V30, posted a video on its Youtube channel titled “The next V: Immersive sound”, marketing the audio performance of their new flagship device.

The LG V30 is rumored to have a dedicated quad digital to audio converter (DAC), just like its predecessor LG V20, which improves the quality of music playback along with clarity of audio that is recorded using the device.

Earlier leaks and speculations have revealed that the LG V30 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and house a 3200mAh battery. The rear camera is expected to feature a dual-camera system, and the phone is expected to retail in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage variants.

The launching of LG V30 is scheduled on August 31, in the US, and the pre-order will commence from September 17. Hopefully, the South-Korean manufacturer will divulge details regarding LG V30 India launch on August 31.
