LG V20 With 5.7 QHD Display And Android Nougat Launched At Rs. 54,999

After much wait, LG V20 has finally landed on Indian soil. It took LG more than 2 months from the day of its global unveiling to launch the LG V20 in India. In September, the LG V20 grabbed headlines by becoming the first smartphone to launch with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

The phone more or less builds on the LG G5 legacy. Similar to G5, it too gets a dual camera setup with slightly improved specs which includes a 16-megapixel f/1.8 aperture sensor paired with a wider 135-degree 8-megapixel f/2.4 camera for a larger field of view. LG has not compromised on other camera technologies as it comes with optical image stabilization and hybrid autofocus which includes sensor laser-assisted autofocus and contrast based autofocus. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture.

In other specifications, it hoists a massive 5.7-inch Quad-HD Quantum IPS display which is coupled with a small secondary display to showcase custom notifications and selected apps.

Under the hood, it packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 coupled with 4GB RAM to take care most tasks. The phone comes with 64 GB of onboard storage which can be bumped up to 2T using a micorSD card. Being a flagship device,  the LG V20 VoLTE, dual-band WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and others in the connectivity section. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the phone similar to the G5.

LG boasts about the audio and video recording capabilities of the smartphone. LG has partnered with renowned European audio brand B& O Play to offer unmatched audio experience. The LG V20 features 32-bit quad-DAC which lets you get studio quality sound from the phone itself without the need of an external amplifier. The phone is aided by a 3200 mAh battery which supports fast charging.

The LG V20 is retailing in the offline market for Rs. 54,999 (MOP) in India. LG has partnered with Amazon.in as its exclusive online partner for V20 sales. As an introductory offer, LG is offering a free B&O headset within the box as part of the package, a back cover, and 6-months free screen replacement warranty.
