As the year draws to a close, the tech world is abuzz with a flurry of flagship phone launches. While OPPO is finalizing the details of its Find X9 series for the global market, we’ve already obtained some exclusive information about a lineup slated for next year: the Reno 15 series.

Thanks to our trusted source, industry insider Yogesh Brar, we’ve learned that OPPO is planning to launch three new models in the Reno 15 series. Today, we’re focusing on the top-of-the-line model, which is shaping up to be a real powerhouse.

OPPO appears to be adopting the “Pro Max” moniker for its premium model, a naming trend we’ve seen from competitors like Apple and Xiaomi. As the name implies, the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Max is expected to be the most feature-packed device in the lineup.

OPPO Reno 15 Pro Max: What to Expect

According to Brar, the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Max will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This panel sounds familiar to ones used in the company’s previous flagships, but with a key upgrade: LTPO technology. This will allow the refresh rate to dynamically drop to as low as 1Hz to conserve battery life.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by MediaTek’s previous-generation flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9400, which also powered the Find X8 series.

The camera department seems to be getting the most significant overhaul. The phone is tipped to feature a powerful triple-camera setup, including a 200MP Samsung HP5 primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, it will reportedly sport a 50MP front-facing camera. Building on the custom LUMO camera technology introduced in this year’s Reno 14 Pro, we anticipate its return in the Reno 15 Pro Max as well.

While the exact battery capacity is still under wraps, our source suggests it will be a massive unit, potentially around the 6,500mAh mark. Rounding out the package are all the modern essentials you’d expect, including an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7, and NFC. On the software front, the device will run on ColorOS 16, based on the new Android 16.

Expected Pricing & Availability

Brar suggests that OPPO aims to keep the pricing competitive and in line with the previous generation, with an expected price tag just under the ₹55,000 mark in India.

The launch is expected to follow a staggered timeline, with a debut in China late this year, followed by a wider Indian and global release in early 2026.
