South Korean major, LG may surprise its fans with the launch of two smartphones, the LG G7 ThinQ and the alleged LG Q7, at the forthcoming event. While we have learnt a lot about the flagship G7 phone, the Q7 could be a mid-range device – succeeding the last Q-series phone from LG, the Q6.

According to its latest news, the LG Q7 was spotted on the US Federal Communication Commission (FCC) with the model number LM-Q710TS. The listing confirmed that the said phone will come with an 18:9 display and flaunt onscreen navigational buttons.

LG Q7 Specifications

The information about the LG Q7 is very scarce right now and it remains the same even after FCC listing, which is a penultimate step before official release. However, a few days ago the same device also featured on Russia’s certification site confirming Android Oreo 8.1 as base software.

LG Q6

To talk about its specification, the LG Q7 could be a cheaper version G7 ThinQ with trimmed down specs and pocket-friendly price, just like the LG G6 and Q6. To recall, the LG G6 came with 5.7-inch QHD+ display, 2.3Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 821 Processor,  3300mAh battery and a 13MP+13MP rear sensor and 5MP front sensor.

Whereas the Q6 came with a 5.5-inch FHD+ display, 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor, 3000mAh lithium-ion battery, and a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter.

LG Q7 Launch Date

Since LG has planned May 2 as the launch date for G7 ThinQ, tech pundits say that the South Korean firm may unveil the Q7 along side. But we would advice you to take this news with a pinch of salt as all information is based on leaks and there is no official confirmation.
