LG Q6 and LG Q6+ were among the first few affordable 18:9 display phones in India. Now, the South-Korean consumer durable giant has officially introduced their successors, the Q7 and Q7 Plus, in the home country.
The LG Q7 and LG Q7+ retain the same compact footprint which made the adorable Q6/ Q6+ standout. The hardware on the inside has been upgraded too, but not proportionally to the increase in price.
LG Q7 and LG Q7+ Price and availability
The LG Q7 and LG Q7+ cost 495,000 Korean Won (roughly Rs. 31,000) and 570,000 Won (Roughly Rs. 35,500), respectively. The Q7 will retail in Aurora Black and Lavender Violet colors, and the Plus variant will be available in Moroccan Blue hue only.
Both phones will be available in Europe in June 2018, followed by the release in select Asian and American markets.

LG Q7+ VS LG Q7: Features
Compared to the LG Q7, the Q7+ gets more RAM and storage (4GB/64GB vs 3GB/32GB), a more detailed rear camera sensor (16MP vs 13MP), and HiFi Quad DAC. Other hardware and Software remain same on both 2018 Q-series phones.
LG Q7 and LG Q7 Plus are powered by 1.8GHz Snapdragon 450 quad-core processors and run Android 8.0 Oreo-based custom software. The Q7 and Q7+ are among the rare few mid-range phones that have water resistant certification (IP68). This year, LG has also added the fingerprint sensor on the rear.
The Q7 and Q7 Plus also list a slew of audio-centric features. There is the customary 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Hi-Fi audio, DTS:X 3D Surround and the Q7+ also gets a Hi-Fi Quad DAC.
The 5MP selfie camera has a wide-angle lens, and the rear shooters are accompanied by a LED flash.
The battery size remains the same as last year, 3000mAh. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS / GLONASS, USB Type-C 2.0.
