The LG G7+ ThinQ finally made it to India. Earlier in May, LG unveiled the LG G7 ThinQ and G7+ ThinQ smartphones and at that time it mentioned that it will be bringing them to India soon. With the LG G7+ launch, the company will be hoping to regain some of its lost ground.

LG G7 ThinQ Features

The LG G7 ThinQ very far from the LG G6+ in terms comes design. LG has rejig a few elements including the dual rear camera module. The LG G7+ ThinQ comes with a glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and metal polished chassis. LG claims that its latest flagship boasts of “MIL-STD 810G” rating designed by the United States military which makes it capable of withstanding harsh environments. It is also IP68 rated water resistant.

The Smartphone houses a 6.1-inch FullVision QHD+ Screen with 3120×1440 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone rocks a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset mated to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which can be bumped up to 2TB using a microSD card.

Optics wise, the LG G7+ ThinQ is equipped with a dual-camera setup which includes a 16-megapixel super wide-angle lens with f/1.9 aperture with field of view of 107 degrees, and a 16-megapixel standard angle lens with f/1.6 aperture with field of view of 71 degrees. As for selfies, the phone features an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens up front.

LG claims that the G7+ ThinQ camera is based on AI with scene recognition tech enabled out of the box. It means the camera can analyze, provide tips for improvement and create artificial bokeh. LG has also added a “Super Bright Camera” mode, which kicks in extremely dark condition to automatically increase brightness of the photo.

Apart from these, the G7+ ThinQ also includes face unlock feature and boombox speaker  as well as Hi-Fi Quad DAC for audiophiles. It comes running on Android Oreo with custom skin on top and LG say it will upgrade it to Android P once Google releases it.
