The internet is now flooded with rumors and leaks about LG’s upcoming flagship, the G6 and yet another one has emerged. The latest rumor has come in the form of a live photograph, that shows the back of the phone in its entirety.
The back of the much-awaited phone features a glossy finish, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the jet black variant of the iPhone 7.
The photograph all but explains the outer makeup of the G6 which further depicts a dual camera setup at the back along with a fingerprint sensor underneath it.
If recent reports are anything to go by, the setup will apparently play a pivotal role in creating the bokeh effect, akin to the portrait effect in the iPhone 7 Plus.
The phone from the South Korean company has been a hot topic of speculation ever since reports regarding its specification started trickling in.
Seemingly, the G6 is the first smartphone ever to feature a 5.7-inch (1440 × 2880 pixels) QHD+ LCD panel with an 18:9 aspect ratio and will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor.
Google Assistant, waterproof design, wireless charging and USB Type-C connectivity are some of the other features that the purported successor to the company’s G5 phone would come replete with.
The much-touted smartphone is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month. The company is also reportedly planning to live stream the same on its YouTube channel.
Let us know what you feel about the LG G6. Will it really work wonders like LG is hoping it to?
