Both the phones feature a metal body along with the company’s branding on the sides. In a rudimentary change of design, Lenovo has done away with the capsule-shaped camera on the back and replaced it with a circular one, this time accompanied by a dual LED flash.

Continuing with the design, the iconic ‘M’ logo of Motorola is still there in the both the phones, which sport a removable battery, a break from the rather recent trend of smartphones featuring non-removable batteries.

Both the Moto G5 as well as the Moto G5 Plus come in with similar features with ever so slight differences, with the former being a toned down version of the latter.

The similar specifications include full HD resolutions with the screens protected by Gorilla Glass 3 on the top, Android 7.0 Nougat OS and maximum external storage capacities (128GB).

This where the similarities end and the individuality of the phones shapes up, elucidating their own particular specifications.

Talking about the relatively smaller Moto G5, it sports a 5-inch display that is powered by a 1.4Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset. The phone offers two storage options (16GB and 32GB) and features a 13MP primary camera. Also, a 2,800mAh battery with fast charging capabilities is entitled with the task of keeping it alive.

On the other hand, its bigger counterpart has a tad larger (5.2-inch, to be precise) display and tags along a 64GB ROM with itself. The processor is a 2Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 625 one and a 12MP camera with dual autofocus is out there on the back.
