Expanding its affordable 5G smartphone lineup, Lava India has launched the Storm 5G. It comes with a large 6.78-inch IPS screen, an octa-core processor, runs on 8GB of RAM, and supports 33W fast wired charging. The phone is available in two rather classy colors: Gale Green and Thunder Black. The smartphone has a punch-hole cutout on the front to house the selfie camera. Although the bezels are symmetrical on three sides, the bottom panel has a thick chin. Turning this around, the phone’s rear panel is squeaky clean, except for the two circular camera cutouts at the upper left corner and the company’s branding in the bottom left corner.
The phone’s right spine has the power button and the volume rockers. On the left, there’s a SIM tray. The bottom panel features the Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, the primary microphone, and the speaker grille. Moreover, the Lava Storm 5G is above average in terms of looks, especially in this price category.

With the mid-tier processor, the smartphone has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The phone also supports 8GB of virtual memory, which extends the RAM when users need it.
