German automobile manufacturer Porsche is widely popular for its sports cars, SUVs, and supercars worldwide. The company has expanded its Cayenne lineup in India with the addition of a new one. Say hello to the 2024 Porsche Cayenne GTS. It’s packed with more power, cool new features, and a fresh look. The company marketed the car as the ultimate blend of style and performance.

2024 Cayenne GTS Design and Interior

The latest iteration of the Cayenne is called the 2024 Cayenne GTS, which arrives with Porsche’s Sport Design package, decking it out with sleek gloss black side skirts, window trims, front inlays, and wheel extensions. And that’s not all—the company has also ensured that the HD LED matrix headlights are now standard. Plus, you’ll notice the striking bronze-colored tailpipes, a switch-up from the previous black ones, and the 21-inch wheels are now rocking a stylish grey paint job.

The 2024 Cayenne GTS showcases Porsche’s Sports Design package, which includes enhancements such as gloss black side skirts, window trims, front inlays, wheel extensions, and more.

This sporty SUV also benefits from new chassis technology, sitting 10mm lower for enhanced agility. It now has adaptive air suspension, a feature previously exclusive to the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid and Turbo GT models. This system incorporates Porsche active suspension management (PASM) and Porsche torque vectoring plus (PTV Plus), guaranteeing a thrilling and dynamic driving experience.

Powertrain

Under the hood, the Cayenne GTS packs the same old but powerful and punchy 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. However, the power has been bumped up from 460hp to a formidable 500hp, while torque has surged from 620Nm to an impressive 659Nm.

This powerhouse is paired with an 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, fine-tuned by Porsche for snappier response and quicker shift times in Sport and Sport Plus modes. The result? The new Cayenne GTS can now blitz from 0 to 100kph in just 4.4 seconds, shaving off 0.1 seconds from its previous time, delivering an exhilarating driving experience from the get-go.

2024 Cayenne GTS Price In India

The newly launched Cayenne GTS and Cayenne Coupe GTS are set to hit the Indian market by mid-2024, with an expected price tag of around Rs 2.5 crore. This places them in a higher bracket than the standard Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe, currently priced at Rs 1.36 crore and Rs 1.42 crore, respectively.

Due to low demand for previous versions, Porsche’s decision not to offer its hybrid lineup in India means that the GTS will be the sole V8 offering in the country. This move caters to enthusiasts eagerly anticipating a high-performance version of the Cayenne. A similar strategy will be adopted for the Panamera lineup as well.
