Lava Agni is the company’s first 5G phone: Specs & Price

The Indian smartphone brand Lava has launched Agni, its first 5G phone. This comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, 5000mAh battery, Android 11 software, and a host of features that makes it worth a look. Let’s brush through the specs of the device followed by its price and availability details.

Lava Agni 5G Features

Lava Agni sports a 6.78-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a punch-hole indent at the center housing a 16MP selfie snapper. The fascia is surrounded by rather thin bezels and protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Flip to the back, and there you have got a quartet comprising a 64MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP depth-sensing module, and a 2MP macro lens.

Inside the device lies a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset clocked at 2.4GHz speed. The memory configuration is 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (which can be extended using a memory card). The phone ships with nearly stock Android 11 software with a few custom elements.

Agni is fueled by a 5000mAh battery that comes backed by a 30W fast charger. Other odds and ends include 5G (N41/N77/N78), dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth, GPS, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C socket.

Lava Agni 5G Price and Availability

Lava Agni 5G is available in Fiery Blue color at a price of ₹19,999. However, as an initial period offer, if you pre-book it before November 17, you can grab it for ₹17,999. The pre-registration can be done at ₹500 on lavamobiles.com. Post the successful booking, you will receive a discount code of ₹2,500 via SMS and e-mail.
