Indian smartphone brand Lava has been making sincere efforts to compete with other brands by launching products with premium features. Taking things a notch higher, the homegrown brand has launched Lava Agni 2 smartphone in the country today. Lava Agni 2 5G is the successor to Lava Agni which was launched last year, and claims to have all those features which will make it a worthy competitor.

Lava Agni 2: Price & Availability

As of now, Lava Agni 2 5G will be available in a single 8GB RAM+256GB storage configuration for Rs. 21,999. The smartphone will retail via Amazon from May 24 at 10 AM IST. As part of a special offer, flat Rs. 2000 off discount will be available on all major debit/credit cards making the effective price to be Rs. 19,999. The Lava Agni 2 comes in a single Glass Viridian color that makes it look quite similar to OnePlus 11 from the back.

Lava Agni 2: Specifications

Lava Agni 2 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The RAM can be expanded to 16GB with 8GB virtual RAM being available. It is paired with Mali G68 GPU and ensures 40% faster downloads with 5G HSR Mode for Gaming. The smartphone has clocked an AnTuTu score of 519335 and comes with a 2900mm square vapor chamber for good thermal performance.

The Lava Agni 2 5G sports a large 6.78-inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2.3mm bottom bezels, double reinforced glass protection, and a 93.65% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone has an Ergonomic 3D design that is easy to hold in hand. In terms of the camera, there is a quad-camera setup at the back. It includes a 1.0-micron 50MP sensor and 3 more lenses, details of which are not known as of now. At the front is a 16MP selfie lens.

The brand claims that the smartphone will run a clean Android 13.0 OS with no ads, no bloatware, and no unwanted notifications. As part of Agni Shapath, you will get assured Android 14 and 15 updates along with 3 years of security patches. 5G connectivity includes support for 13 high-speed 5G bands.

 Agni 2 packs a 4700mAh battery under the hood with 66W fast wired charging capability that will give a 50% charge in just 16 minutes. Moreover, Lava has also announced an ‘Agni Mitra’ provision wherein if you face any issue with the Lava Agni 2, the brand will replace your device at your doorstep.
