The joint effort aims to outpace the capabilities of India’s most powerful supercomputers. Nvidia will provide access to its cutting-edge Nvidia GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip and Nvidia DGX Cloud, an AI supercomputing service hosted in the cloud.
The AI infrastructure, which is set to be hosted in AI-ready computing data centers, is expected to expand to an impressive 2,000 MW capacity. The execution and implementation of this ambitious project will be overseen by Jio Platforms.
Under the terms of this collaboration, Nvidia will supply Jio with comprehensive AI supercomputer technologies, encompassing CPU, GPU, networking, and AI operating systems and frameworks for constructing advanced AI models.
