Jio is back with another bang. This time around, Mukesh Ambani-led Jio has launched the JioGamesCloud service in India in partnership with Nvidia GeForce Now. JioGamesCloud gives you access to cloud gaming with more than 50 games available on the platform at the time of launch.

Still, in beta, the JioGamesCloud utilizes the power of cloud computing to allow users to try their hands on games like Saints Row The Third, and Saints Row 4 among others. The service is not available for all users at the moment and thus, you will have to wait for the GeForce Now service to arrive.

Jio was in talks with Microsoft Xbox Cloud, although that ship never sailed. Partnered with GeForce Now, we might see PlayStation Cloud and Xbox Cloud Gaming making their entry into the Indian market which is still an untapped market for cloud gaming.

Unlike traditional gaming where you have to buy a system and games, cloud computing gives you the capability to play games on any device, be it smartphones, the web, or set-top boxes without spending a fortune on some hardware.

JioGamesCloud service is available for all users irrespective of what network operator they are subscribed to. It could be an attempt to lure non-Jio subscribers and might make even a fortune for Jio in the long run.

How to Apply For Jio Cloud Gaming Beta?

As aforementioned, Jio Cloud Gaming is available via its dedicated app JioGamesCloud. Even if you aren’t a Jio user, you need not worry as the cloud gaming service is truly available to users of all the network operators assuming that you have a high-speed internet connection. Let’s check out how you can apply and get your hands on any of the 50+ games available on the cloud.

How to Apply For Jio Cloud Gaming Beta?

#1: First up, go to JioGamesCloud official website.

#2: Next, hit the ‘Get Started’ button on the website located either on the upper-right corner or at the center depending upon what device you are using.

#3: Next, select whether you are using a Smartphone, Desktop, or Set-top Box.

#4: The website will automatically redirect you to the specific section such as if you select Smartphone, you will be redirected to the Google Play Store where you need to download ‘JioGames’.

#5: You have to select any of the 50+ games available on the tap on ‘Play Now’.

#6: You will be asked to Sign Up for the beta by entering your mobile number, generate OTP and providing the same.

#7: Next, tap on any game and voila, you should be able to play it without any hitch.
