Jio launched multiple phones at industry-disrupting prices since the beginning. Now, the rumours suggest that Jio is soon going to bring a budget 5G phone for the audience. It has already been confirmed by the company that the smartphone is in the works. Apart from that, the latest leaks have revealed multiple details regarding the upcoming Jio Phone 5G.

Starting off with the pricing, the Jio Phone 5G could roll out around the fourth quarter of the year. Though, we don’t have any confirmation regarding the launch date until now. One thing which we are sure of is that the device will offer 5G internet connectivity to the users as Jio will roll out 5G connectivity around the phone’s launch.

As for the pricing, Jio is prepping up again to shake the Indian smartphone industry to the core. Speculations are that the device will be available at a price range between Rs 9,000 to Rs 12,000.

Keeping that in mind, Jio is surely going to give tough competition to other devices in the same price segment. Moreover, the future of 4G phones is going to end after this whole scenario for sure.

Jio Phone 5G expected specifications

The Jio Phone 5G could come with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display paired with a 60Hz refresh rate. It will most probably be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor along with Adreno 619 GPU. We can get to see 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage in the smartphone. This one by Jio will also run on the Pragati OS based on Android.

In terms of camera, the smartphone could ship with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary shooter and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, the smartphone may get an 8MP snapper. The handset will draw power from a 5000mAh battery that can go on for a day on a single charge. It will support USB Type-C 18W fast charging.
