As per the Counterpoint report, the cost of the Jio Phone 5G will range from Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,000. Before releasing its budget-friendly 5G phone, the company will wait until the 5G network has been deployed in a sizable portion of the nation.
With no more details on the Jio Phone 5G, the report mentioned, “Further, at some point in 2024, Jio will also be compelled to launch an affordable 5G mmWave + sub-6GHz smartphone as the cost deltas between the two have narrowed significantly from the overall BoM (bill of materials) fitting perspective.”
