It’s Official: POCO X7 Pro to Become India’s First Phone to Ship with HyperOS 2.0

Earlier we reported that the POCO X7 Pro will be the first device in India to ship with HyperOS 2.0, and today POCO has officially confirmed the news. The POCO X7 Pro will indeed be the first device to debut with HyperOS 2.0 in India, following the trend set by the POCO X6 Pro (review), which shipped with HyperOS 1.0 while other devices were still shipping with MIUI 14.

Now, coming to the launch details, the POCO X7 Pro is set to launch in India on December 9th at 5:30 PM. The expected pricing is under ₹26,000, as hinted by a teaser on Flipkart.

POCO X7 Pro Specifications 

The device will essentially be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 that launched in China, and here are the key specifications:

  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 8400 
  • Memory: LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage
  • Cameras: 50 MP Sony LYT600 OIS + 8 MP ultra-wide (rear), 20 MP OV20B (front)
  • Battery: 6,550 mAh with 90W wired charging
  • Features: Android 15, IP69 rating, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, X-axis linear motor
  • Build: 8.06 mm thickness, 204 g weight
