Adding another mid-range smartphone to its lineup, iQoo launched the Z7 Pro 5G in India. Key highlights of the device include its unique design, especially the Blue Lagoon finish, a capable MediaTek Dimensity chipset, a dual-camera setup, and a large 4,600 mAh battery. iQoo Z7 Pro 5G Specifications
Out of the box, the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and peak brightness of 1,300 nits. Although the phone offers a large display, ideal for media consumption, the absence of stereo speakers might bug some users. Nonetheless, the phone has a 3D curved display that should be comfortable to hold for long hours.
Under the hood, the iQoo Z7 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC paired with the ARM Mali-G610 GPU. Its performance is comparable to the Snapdragon 870 SoC. Regarding storage, the phone is available in two variants: 8/128GB and 8/256GB. The phone also offers extended RAM technology, increasing the RAM to 16GB (dedicated + storage).
iQoo’s latest phone has a dual-sensor setup consisting of a 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) bokeh sensor. On the front, users get a 16MP (f/2.45) selfie shooter. While the main camera can shoot videos in 4K at 30 fps, the front camera maxes out at 1080p videos at 30 fps. In addition, the phone also has a ring-shaped flashlight that should help take pictures in the dark.
Powering the smartphone is a large 4,600 mAh battery that supports 66W fast wired charging (via USB-C), which refuels the device to 50% in about 22 minutes. Other features of the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP52 water and dust resistance rating. Last but not least, the phone runs on Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13.

The iQoo Z7 Pro 5G is available in Blue Lagoon and Graphite Matte. While the former has a blue gradient finish at the back that looks different, the latter is the standard matte black texture we’ve seen on other smartphones.

The iQoo Z7 Pro costs Rs. 23,999 for the 8/128GB variant and Rs. 24.999 for the 8/256GB variant. As an introductory offer, the company is offering a Rs. 2,000 bank offer via SBI or HDFC Bank cards, reducing the effective price of the variants. While the company announced the phone today, open sales will begin on September 5, 2023, at 12 PM IST. It will be available to purchase via Amazon.
