Just as the year is about to end, iqoo has launched the iQOO Neo 9 Series in China. The Neo 9 Series includes two smartphones- iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. Neo 9 Series is the successor to the Neo 8 series that came out earlier this year and it aims to strengthen the mid-budget segment of Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO. Not only the iQOO Neo 9 Series but some other products have also been unveiled at the launch event. These include the iQOO TWS 1e, and iQOO Watch.
Iqoo is expected to launch the Pro model of the iQOO Neo 9 Series in India soon.
iQOO Neo 9 Series: Price & Availability (in China)
Both smartphones come in 3 different shades- Red and White Soul (leather), Nautical Blue (glass) and Fighting Black (glass).
iQOO Neo 9 comes in the following storage models-

- 16GB RAM+256GB storage- CNY 2499 (Rs. 29,000 approx.)

iQOO Neo 9 Pro comes in 4 storage configurations as well-

Both smartphones will be available in China from December 30, 2023.

iQOO Neo 9: Specs
iQOO Neo 9 5G is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with Adreno 730 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 1400 nits brightness, and 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone runs Android 14 with Origin OS 4.0 and features a dual camera setup at the back (50MP+8MP). At the front, it has a 16MP lens for video calls and selfies, and under the hood is a 5160mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging. Additional features include Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 7, Beidou, Glonass, NavIC, NFC, USB Type-C, fingerprint sensor, and more.
iQOO Neo 9 Pro: Specs
The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset paired with Immortalis G720 GPU, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB storage. It features the same 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with HDR10+, 1400 nits brightness, and 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone runs Android 14 out of the box and comes with a dual camera setup at the back (50MP+50MP) and a 16MP lens at the front. Under the hood, a 5160mAh battery juices up the device with 120W wired fast charging capability. Additional features include 5G, 4G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou, Glonass, NavIC, NFC, USB-Type-C and more. The glass variant measures 163.53×75.68×7.99mm and weighs 196 grams while the leather variant has a thickness of 8.34mm and weighs 190 grams.
iQOO TWS 1e
The iqoo TWS 1e is the rebranded version of Vivo TWS 3e that came out earlier. These come in black with yellow accents and feature an Apple AirPod-like design. The TWS has 11mm drivers and supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. These support multiple sound effects like DeepX 3.0 stereo, 3D panoramic audio, and Monster Sound for gaming and are IP54-rated for splash resistance. The TWS comes with ultra-low 55ms latency and features smart ANC with a battery that lasts up to 44 hours. The buds can give a runtime of up to 11 hours on a single charge.
iQOO Watch
Iqoo has launched its first smartwatch alongside the iQOO Neo 9 Series. The watch has a circular dial and a display of 1.43-inch with a resolution of 466×466 pixels. There is a rotating crown and a physical button on the right side.
As for health and fitness features, the watch offers 24-hour heart rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring, high-altitude reminders, sleep tracking, stress level monitoring, high noise detection, menstrual cycle tracker, and more. There are over 100 sports modes and an AI running coach built as well.
The smartwatch runs BlueOS and supports E-SIM, speaker, microphone, NFC, car keys, Camera, music control and more. The Watch packs a 505mAh battery that offers up to 7 days of battery on a single charge.
