The Chinese smartphone manufacturer iQOO has confirmed that its next flagship, iQOO 13, will be released in India on December 3, 2024. Ahead of the launch, the company has also floated a landing page for the smartphone, revealing all the key specifications and features.

While most of the details mentioned on the landing page for iQOO 13′smartprix bytes Snapdragon 8 Elites Indian version are identical to that of the Chinese version, there’s one thing that isn’t, and it’s worth noting for anyone who has followed the Chinese launch coverage.

iQOO 13’s Indian Variant To Feature 6,000 mAh Battery

iQoo 13 battery life Indian variant

According to the Chinese specifications page of the iQOO 13, the handset launched in the country features a 6,150 mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. However, the Indian version of the smartphone will ship with a slightly smaller 6,000 mAh battery (with support for similar charging speed).

Although the reason behind the drop in battery cell capacity is unknown, it could have something to do with the Indian pricing of the phone and how keeping it closer to the Chinese pricing could result in lesser profit margins for the company. There could be other reasons as well, but what is mentioned above is just speculation.

The landing page also confirms that the iQOO 13 will launch in two finishes: Legend Edition and Nardo Gray. Interestingly, the phone will also feature “Moster Halo Light,” which lights up for calls and notifications, during gaming, and while playing music. Despite packing top-notch hardware, the handset will be 8.13mm thin. Last but not least, it will feature an IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance rating for added protection.
