iQOO 13 5G Launched in China Powered by Snapdragon 8 Extreme Chipset & LTPO Display

Recently, chipmaker Qualcomm announced the next generation of chipsets at its annual event, post which leading tech giants like Xiaomi, Honor, Realme and others have lined up flagship launches powered by these SoCs in China. Today, it is iQOO’s turn as the brand has launched next in its number series, namely the iQOO 13 5G smartphone in China. The iQOO 13 5G comes with a Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chipset, a 6150mAh battery, and a specific focus on gaming performance. The India launch of iQOO 13 5G is also confirmed as the microsite has gone live. Check out the features of iQOO 13 5G below.

iQOO 13 5G: Price & Availability

The iQOO 13 5G has been announced in five storage configurations-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- 3999 Yuan
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage- 4499 Yuan
  • 16GB RAM+256GB storage-4299 Yuan
  • 16GB RAM+512GB storage-4699 Yuan
  • 16GB RAM+1TB storage (exclusive crystal optical glass version)-5199 Yuan

It comes in four color options Edition, Legend Edition, Nardo Gray, and Isle of Man. The Track Editon is made of fiberglass and has a thickness of 7.99m weighing 207 grams, the other three versions are 8.13mm thick and weigh 213 grams.

iQOO 13 5G: Features

The iQOO 13 5G is powered by the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chipset paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 flash storage. It is also powered by the first self-developed gaming chip Q2 and comes with a 7000mm2 VC Heat spreader for better thermal performance. This gaming chipset supports 2K+ 144fps super-resolution and super-frame concurrency.

Gaming features also include dual 115E War Drum Master Speakers with 1016H X-axis linear motor and iqoo Live Game Assistant for game anchors that support 2K 60fps 15Mbps bitrate live broadcast.

The iQOO 13 5G flaunts a 6.82-inch BOE 8T LTPO OLED flat screen with 144Hz refresh rate, manual 800 nits brightness, peak 4500 nits brightness, and Android’s first OLED circular polarized light-eye protection technology. The display supports 2592Hz high-frequency DC Dimming as well.

In terms of camera, the iQOO 13 features a 50MP main Sony IMS921 sensor, a 50MP ultrawide Samsung S5KJN1 sensor, and a 50MP telephoto camera at the back. At the front is a 32MP Galcore GC321E sensor for selfies.

Under the hood, the flagship smartphone packs a massive 6150mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging that can charge from 0 to 100% in merely 30 minutes. Additional features include Energy Halo light which is customizable, NICE 2.0 Engine for street photography, 360-degree surround antenna, IP68+IP69 rating, and OriginOS 5 based on Android 15 out of the box.

The launch of iQOO 13 5G has been confirmed for India as well. While the launch date hasn’t been announced yet, the company has confirmed imminent launch as the page for iQOO 13 has gone live on the Amazon India website. iQOO India also shared a post on X that confirmed the availability of smartphones in India with the Halo Light feature. A landing page has also been created on iQOO’s own India website which shows the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
