We are receiving updates from reputed leaksters regarding iPhone 16 models and the ‘significant design changes’ they would bring onboard. Tipster Majin Bu posted schematics for what is supposed to be an iPhone 16 that shares its looks with the iPhone X and 11 with a standard vertically stacked dual rear camera setup. Here’s what the latest buzz is all about.

According to leakster Majin Bu, the iPhone 16 is likely to share similarities to the iPhone X and 11 and it goes without saying, the design DNA will trickle to the Pro series as well. On the flip side, we have seen the usual squaricle camera bump with a dual cam on iPhone 16 while the Pro will get a triple cam setup as you can see in the tagged images below.

The tipster hints at how the iPhone 16 Pro is likely to have minimal changes in the screen size compared to the 0.2” increase projected in previous rumors. Note that we might get a bit of an increase in screen real estate at 0.x inches.

Apart from that, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will see a 0.2” change in the screen size from 6.7” (in 15 Pro Max) to 6.9”. Both the Pro models are likely to have a new button layout also because of the inclusion of the Capture Button. These capacitive buttons are likely to be sunken into the screen with flat surfaces. As per what we have seen in the renders, the Capture Button is located at the lower part of the right edge plus the power button on top while the Action Button and volume rockers are located on the left side.

On the other hand, Ming-Chi Kuo – an Apple supply chain analyst, says iPhone 16 models are unlikely to see a major design overhaul. The changes would only take place in 2025 when the iPhone 17 series is ready to launch. Moreover, comprehensive generative AI features could join the same boat arriving with the iPhone 17 series in late 2025 as well.
