Infinix XE27 TWS Buds Review: Design and Fit
Upon initial observation, the design of the Infinix TWS XE27 Buds evokes a comparison to Apple’s AirPods. While the design is straightforward and unembellished, the charging case resembles the sleek and lightweight profile of the AirPods. Both the case and the earbuds are constructed from plastic and are available in two colors: Royal Blue and Imperial White. I received the Imperial White variant for this review, which features a glossy finish. Unfortunately, the case attracts fingerprints and dirt, making it appear frequently smudged. Nevertheless, its compact design adds a charming touch. The earbuds fit snugly within the case, making them easy to carry in pockets or bags.
In terms of features, the case includes a USB-C port on the bottom and an LED indicator on the front to display pairing and charging status. The lid is sturdy and closes securely with a satisfying click, ensuring the earbuds remain safe.
The earbuds themselves feature a small stem design and are remarkably lightweight when worn. Each bud comes with a pre-installed ear tip and additional tips in the packaging. I found the earbuds to be exceptionally comfortable for extended use, fitting perfectly and remaining in place even during workouts. With an IPX4 rating, I had no concerns about exposure to rain or sweat.
Each bud is equipped with touch controls, although I found them to be somewhat finicky. Additionally, each bud has an LED light that indicates pairing status, allowing for the use of a single bud in mono mode.

Infinix XE27 TWS Buds Review: Connectivity, Control & Features
The Infinix XE27 Earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.0, ensuring quick and reliable connectivity with nearly all devices. To connect, I activated Bluetooth on my smartphone and opened the earbuds case. The LED indicator illuminated blue, signaling that the TWS was successfully paired with my device. The connection remained stable at distances of up to 10 meters, making it convenient for movement within a space. Additionally, it offers Google Fast Pair functionality for immediate pairing.
One notable downside is the absence of a dedicated app. Nevertheless, the TWS earbuds are equipped with touch controls on both units. While these controls are advertised as intuitive and responsive, I found them to be somewhat inconsistent at times, requiring multiple attempts to execute the desired gesture. Hopefully, future updates will address this concern.
Furthermore, the XE27 Buds include a low-latency gaming mode for uninterrupted gaming experiences, as well as a voice-through mode that allows users to remain aware of their surroundings.

Infinix XE27 TWS Buds Review: Sound & ANC
The Infinix XE27 TWS Buds feature 10mm drivers designed to deliver bass-rich audio. Given the device’s price, the sound quality is notably impressive, providing a well-rounded and clear listening experience across various music genres, particularly excelling with bass-heavy tracks. However, those who prefer a flat sound profile may find the XE27 lacking, as there is no accompanying app to adjust sound settings. At times, the bass can overshadow the treble and vocals, with a predominant emphasis on mid and low frequencies. The call quality is adequate, though there were instances of echo during conversations.

Regarding Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), the Infinix XE27 buds do include this feature. While many true wireless earbuds priced under 2000 lack ANC, Infinix asserts that their technology effectively blocks out ambient noise for an uninterrupted listening experience. In practical use, the ANC performs reasonably well in quieter settings, but background noise remains noticeable even with ANC activated in more crowded environments. Additionally, the transparency mode appears to have minimal effect, suggesting it may be more of a marketing strategy than a functional feature.

Infinix XE27 TWS Buds Review: Battery Life & Charging
The Infinix TWS XE27 is advertised to provide a total playback duration of 28 hours when using the charging case, and 4.5 hours when using the earbuds independently with active noise cancellation enabled. Based on my experience, these claims are largely accurate; the earbuds exceeded 4 hours of use on a single charge, and the total playback time with the case was approximately 26 hours. The charging case requires around 120 minutes for a full charge, while the earbuds can achieve 1 hour of playback after just 10 minutes of charging. Additionally, when not in use, the case is said to have a standby time of up to 60 days.

Review Verdict: Should you buy the Infinix XE27 TWS Buds?
The Infinix XE27 TWS Buds present a budget-friendly choice for individuals seeking a true wireless stereo device priced under 2000. Featuring a design reminiscent of AirPods, these buds offer extended battery life, active noise cancellation, and rapid charging features. While they lack app support and the touch controls may not be entirely seamless, such limitations are understandable given the competitive pricing. The Infinix XE27 is ideal for consumers in search of an economical and practical solution in today’s high-priced market.
