Honor Note 10, the much anticipated big phone with a big battery, is now official in China. Most of the specifications are within the bounds of expected, but Huawei still managed to retain more than few surprises like a dedicated CPU Turbo button and Liquid cooling.

Honor Note 10 Price and Availability

The Honor Note 10 will be available for purchase in China starting from August 1.

  • 6GB + 64GB price is 2799 yuan (roughly 28,104 INR)
  • 6GB + 128GB price is 3199 yuan (roughly 32,110 INR)
  • 8GB + 128GB price is 3599 yuan (roughly 36,137 INR)

Honor Note 10 Features

To start with, the near 7-inch AMOLED panel on the Note 10 is HDR 10 compatible and can go up to 600 Nits bright. Huawei says that the display targets 115% NTSC gamut, but of course, that number doesn’t mean much in practice. Complementing the display, Dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support further complement the extra large display.

The SoC powering the flagship is yet again the octa-core Kirin 970 that integrates an NPU for powering AI smarts. It will be available in 6GB RAM with 64GB/128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage options. The card slot is hybrid type.

Apart from GPU Turbo boost, Huawei has also added a dedicated key for CPU Boost (you can also assign other functions to the key). All that boost should invariably result in some heating. To counter that, Huawei has added “the nine” liquid cooling that includes 8 layers of heat dissipation and a PC-grade liquid cooling pipe. If this works as expected (Huawei claims 41% better heat management).

As for the cameras, there is a 24MP(f/1.8) and 16MP(f/1.8) camera combination on the rear and a 13MP(F/2.0) selfie camera on the front.

The software is the usual EMUI 8.0 and its based on Android 8.1 Oreo. All the technology packed inside is fueled by a 5000mAh battery (fast charging supported).
