In succession to last year’s U11 Life, HTC has revealed its latest smartphone, HTC U12 Life today in Berlin. The phone’s specifications were already out a few months in advance, thanks to incessant leaks and rumors, and the phone was also spotted on Geekbench a few days ago. The launch was simply to give an official meaning to all that was already revealed.

The rear panel of the phone wears two different textures on the same platform – smooth acrylic glass and fine grid design glass back. The phone is expected to hit the Indian market during the month of September.

Unlike in the past, as with several of its Flagship phones, HTC has included a headphone jack on its device this time. Another major upgrade from its predecessor is in terms of its experimental look, combining two different patterns to result in a unique design.

Highlights

  • The phone comes with octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC
  • HTC has experimented with the phone’s rear panel design
  • It sports a 6-inch FHD+ display, with 1080 x 2160p
